The Melbourne-based collective ESESE (Eastern Seaboard Electric Soul Ensemble) are no strangers within the Australian music scene. Compiled of musicians, producers, DJs, artists and directors, the talented group have been making waves over the country for quite some time now.

This week as part of ‘MoreLifeMonday’ tradition, TLF aims to honour the ESESE’s achievements while illustrating their phenomenal creative dynamics.

In 2015, the group released their highly anticipated debut EP ‘Act 1: Hancoq‘, a project which saw great success.

In fact, according to Acclaim Magazine, the EP was ‘the perfect amount of perfection’.

Furthermore stating it was a “beautifully crafted package of wow and [creates] the vibe for the rest of your week, maybe even for the rest of your summer, maybe the rest of your lifetime.”

With their sound replicating a beautiful fusion of electronic, soul, funk and hip hop, the music honestly speaks for itself (LISTEN HERE).

2017 has been a huge year for ESESE, as they signed with the Melbourne/Australia based label, Valve Sounds, released three singles, and are currently prepping for the release of their next project.

If these singles are a glimpse into the future of what’s to come (or even if they aren’t haha), TLF are beyond excited for the forthcoming release.
