Local hip hop artist, Requiem, has returned with a grimy and grand new single titled, ‘Match Fit‘, which features production from Thundamentals collaborator, Poncho.
The fast tempo and bass-heavy track hears the emcee stake his claim as one of the most exciting, emerging artists.
Further, ‘Match Fit’ entails many memorable lines, such as the cheeky chorus, “wanna chat sh^t but they not match fit!” Which is a call out to contemporaries whose skills don’t stack up.
However, Requiem has quite an impressive resume to back this claim up. He’s played shows alongside some this country’s hip hop giants including; Illy, Drapht, Horrowshow, Jimblah, Seth Sentry and Split Syndicate.
With this fiery new single being Requiems first release for 2018, TLF is looking forward to see what’s next to come before the year is through.
