EXCLUSIVE: Fresh Violet spills the beans on her debut album ‘50 Shades of Violet’

In Chinese astrology, 2018 is the year of the dog, but in Australian hip-hop, it’s hard to argue that it’s anything other than Fresh Violet‘s year. The Melbourne-based rapper/producer has been going from strength to strength, showing no sign of slowing down.

With her relentless touring schedule and constant stream of releases, TLF can now exclusively reveal all the  details of her biggest project yet, ’50 Shades of Violet’.

At twelve songs deep, Violet’s debut album not only showcases her technical prowess and charismatic lyricism, but it also sets in stone her reputation as a versatile producer.

The project spans a broad palette of hip-hop styles which Violet blends into a cohesive and fluent project.

When TLF got the scoop, she told us, “I’m so proud of this work. It was a monumental challenge to create in so many ways but it was so important to me to tell my story. I can’t wait to share it with everyone.”
