PREMIERE: Fresh Violet – Cherry [VIDEO]

Since making her debut in 2017, Melbourne-based rapper/producer Fresh Violet has made waves and established herself as a promising artist with a unique style of crisp, upbeat Hip-Hop sonics.

On her latest offering ‘Cherry‘ (prod by. Ninajirachi) Violet continues to raise the bar as she presents a bouncy electro ballad with witty lyricism, reflecting an ode to self-love and personal growth.

The empowering spirit of the record is a result of Ninajirachi and Violet’s experience of being selected to participate in ‘Ricochet’ – an all-female and non-binary song writing camp. Further, this new single grants listeners their first taste of her forthcoming sophomore album ‘Life of Vi’ (expected for release in the tail end of 2020).

Accompanying the release, Fresh Violet has also shared some stunning visuals which pays homage to the classic 1985 film The Breakfast Club. Utilising smooth panning shots as well as quirky tongue-in-cheek scenes, the video is executed perfectly and makes for an extremely memorable viewing.

Looking forward, TLF is eager to see if fans will be blessed with any more singles from Fresh Vizzy as she moves towards the release of her follow-up album.
We’re definitely ready for more!

CHERRY‘ IS ALSO AVAILABLE ON APPLE MUSIC AND SPOTIFY NOW!
