Following the success of her genre-bending debut EP ‘BOLD‘, emerging Melbourne-based virtuoso Sophiegrophy has returned with a brand new single titled ‘Drehpehs‘.

With help from widely talented producers Eric Boavida and Jia Lih, the record comes as a hard-hitting banger which serves notice to fake culture warriors and those who undermine the confidence in her own unique creative vision.

‘Drehpehs‘ hears Sophiegrophy whisk musing flows and vicious wordplay over Trap-esque production that’s layered smoothly with dark keys, sinister percussion and thudding 808’s.

What’s more, the single is accompanied with engaging visuals shot inside Melbourne’s heritage listed Palais Theatre. The video conceptualises the notion of the performer versus viewer in the digital age, as Sophiegrophy plays the Phantom in her own Hip-Hop Opera.
