Nick Rae taps in with The Local Frequency for an uplifting visual project titled ‘LKDWN’

As Melbourne enters its fourth lockdown to combat growing clusters of COVID-19 cases, The Local Frequency have joined forces with widely talented visual scientist Nick Rae to create a project aimed at reminding the local community to keep positive during these challenging times.

Titled ‘LKDWN‘, the video captures the voices of 50 local artists from all over Melbourne, exploring the unique elements of the city’s creative scene and offering advice on how to stay motivated.

Speaking on the release Nick Rae says;

“I’m so proud to be apart of this city, there’s no other city, no other music scene that would come together like this.”

As an added bonus, Rae has also curated a Spotify playlist which features tracks from all of the artists involved in the project. Honestly, what better way to learn more about Melbourne’s robust music scene, than from the artists themselves and their craft. Peep the playlist below!
