MoreLifeMonday: Eleji

This week’s instalment of ‘MoreLifeMonday’ explores the true grind and evolution of local Melbourne artist, Eleji.

At just 22-years-old, the young emcee is one of this city’s most extensive and motivated artists.

Owning an incredible catalogue spanning over six years, and not to forget the six mixtapes he released under his previous stage name, “Arks”, Eleji is no stranger to the Australian hip hop scene.

Eleji’s depth of self-consciousness and reflective lyricism sets him well-apart from the rest of the competition. His ability to construct smooth and groovy flows while connecting to a track to tell a story are truly inspiring.

On his latest project and debut EP, “The Ugly Side” (produced by RAHJCONKAS), Eleji demonstrates his dynamic artistry and vocal ability in six absolute quality tracks.

After a short hiatus, 2017 has seen Eleji battle his inner demons and return to the throne with some killer singles, “Blood On Me“, “Cigarettes & Cush” and  “Love Never Dies.”

With the arrival of his debut album, plus mixtape, expected to release later this year, TLF are keeping a serious eye out and can’t wait to see what’s to come.

Eleji is one of our favourite emcees from Melbourne and highly deserving of a lot more credit than he’s currently given.
