After gaining traction in 2019 with his popular singles ‘Breathe‘ and ‘Trap Paradise‘, emerging Melbourne-based artist Kevin Cartel has shared his highly anticipated debut album.

Titled ‘The Cartel Baby‘, the eight-track project combines a glaring collection of songs with soft melodies, brooding lyricism, and spacey production that’s filled with ambient undertones and heavy 808’s.

Offering a range of vibrant sonics reminiscent to the likes of global acts Tyla Yaweh, NAV, and Yung Pinch, Kevin Cartel provides a cohesive album that’s extremely genuine and well-constructed. Moreover, his ability to experiment with different pockets and deliver vocals with a soothing and euphonic cadence is sublime.
