Remi and Sensible J are back with two new cuts ‘Elevate + Get It Right’

In light of the recent developments surrounding COVID-19, Australian Hip-Hop artist Remi and musical collaborator Sensible J have shared two new songs in hopes of providing listeners a short escape from all the chatter.

The records titled ‘Elevate‘ and ‘Get It Right‘ both offer the duo’s signature blend of jazzy, soulful sonics that are organically fused with traditional elements of Hip-Hop and R&B.

Further, ‘Elevate‘ encloses a smooth and mellow cut, resembling a 420-friendly anthem about getting lifted and leaving behind any unnecessary worries. While ‘Get It Right‘ enlists Jace XL‘s compelling cadence for a multi-layered track that’s composed of captivating horns (courtesy of Silent Jay), sharp wordplay, powerful melodies, and of course, Sensible J’s riveting genre-bending production.

What’s more, this fresh drop represents the first taste of Remi and J’s forthcoming album called ‘Fried‘, which is set for release on Friday April 24. After waiting four years for their next full length, this project will come as a representation of their continued growth, and as a warming tribute to their eight years of friendship.
Stay tuned!
