Coming as a breath of fresh air, the project is perhaps the only love story that is yet to be told with such articulation – the story of young, black, Christian love. Much like his past releases, Fungai achieves this in a captivating, coherent and ultimately well-crafted way.

Tracks such as ‘Let Me Know‘ and ‘Relationships 101‘ provide hard-hitting 90’s Hip-Hop vibes with boom bap styled drums, jazzy rhode keys, and vivid wordplay. While ‘Miss Me‘ and ‘Forever/Best For You‘ hears Fungai execute a more introspective and personal account of his multifaceted artistry.

What’s more, ‘The Adventures of Him and Her‘ comes full circle as it closes with a clean, radio-ready track titled ‘Always‘ which hears Fungai end on a velvety slow jam.
