Speaking on the inspiration behind the record, leww says:

“I originally wrote this song on the piano in my bedroom, and as I laid out the chords, I realised I wanted to make it a feel-good motivational song.“

“About a day before I went into the studio with SB90 (Stuart B Productions), I tried playing the chords on an acoustic guitar, and that’s when the main riff was born. The lyrics follow my current feelings about where I am in my career and where I want to go with it.”
