With the recent release of his merry anthem ‘Friday Freestyle‘, Melbourne’s Carter continues to move at a momentous pace as he returns to deliver a raging follow-up single titled ‘Selfish‘.

Produced by multi-platinum producer Beezo (Tory Lanez, Roddy Ricch), the record offers an ambient display of silky R&B/Trap sonics while Carter comes through with what’s easily his best performance yet. The talented act utilises every aspect of his eclectic cadence to project bright, buttery melodies, bouncy wordplay and an incredibly charismatic earworm of a chorus.

Speaking on its significance, Carter says “the song is about being selfish with our attention, protecting our energy, and ambitions.” Further, it hears him air out his thoughts on this crazy world and the absolute chaos of a year 2020 has been.

Looking forward, ‘Selfish‘ comes as the last single before Carter begins the highly anticipated roll-out of his forthcoming EP. Plus, given what’s been dropping lately there’s no doubt plenty more heat is on the way.
