From working with the likes of Australian icons Adrian Eagle, Baker Boy and KIAN, to bursting onto the scene last year with his debut solo release ‘I Can’t Breathe‘, Melbourne-based Hip-Hop virtuoso Jerome Farah shows no signs of slowing down as he’s sustained pushing the envelope with a series of multidimensional releases.
Returning with his first record for 2021, Farah recently unveiled an expeditious and brisk new anthem titled ‘Concrete Jungle Fever‘ which explores the notion of succumbing to what people want you to be. Sonically, it’s jam-packed with animated production by way infectious basslines, perky percussion and Trap-fuelled 808s, creating a high intensity yet liberating ambience.
Speaking on the release via Instagram, Jerome Farah says;
“You ever just trying to do you then someone comes along to ruin that? Well this is for you.”
What’s more, and much like his other singles, ‘Concrete Jungle Fever‘ comes complete with complementary video treatment courtesy of Sanjay De Silva. The compelling spectacle projects something of a fever dream with Jerome depicting an array of dynamic and comical characters.
This is a must watch!
