Rising electronic producer YAAK and Hackney-born, now Melbourne-based recording artist Z. Lewis have joined forces for a bold and volatile new record titled ‘10 MERITS‘.

Weaving their prominent EDM and Hip-Hop styles into a lucid melting pot of sonics, ‘10 MERITS‘ radiates entrancing production reminiscent to the likes of Skrillex and Flume. Beyond this, Z. Lewis jumps in with rapid fire flows and dynamic wordplay to transcend the soundscape. As a result the track offers an ‘eargasm’ arrangement of springy basslines, haunting samples, thumping 808s, and atmospheric synths – alongside Lewis’ deft and intricate rhyme schemes.

Speaking on the release, YAAK says;

“We’re both on our braggadocious shit… We’re onto something really unique here… there weren’t any other people who could’ve brought the record together the way we did. You hear that in the lyrics, and you hear it in the production. There’s a reason the name is in ALL CAPS!”
