After stepping back and taking a short hiatus between releases, Melbourne-based artist Nasty Mars has made a long-awaited return and shared an infectious new single titled ‘Sage‘.

Calling on fellow local tastemakers Boy Ace and Baro, the record (produced by HANCOQ) comes as a hard-hitting R&B ballad filled with thumping 808s and atmospheric production. Nasty delivers the catchiest chorus of 2021 and dances over the track with confidence. In their own right, Boy Ace and Baro contribute invigorating verses and transcend the record by offering fresh nuances.

Additionally, ‘Sage‘ comes complete with stunning visuals courtesy of Sam Morton. Capturing a late night aesthetic complemented with bright green and yellow lighting, the video perfectly encompasses the mood of the audible. There’s no denying everything about this release is on point, Nasty has truly ended the year with a bang. Hopefully this is the first taste of more to come in 2022!
