Putting on for his small country town of Finley, Melbourne-based teen crooner Drest has shared an idyllic snapshot of transparency with his anthemic new record ‘Drought‘.
Written before making the move to Burn City, the single comes off the back of recent support from triple j, and garnering 15,000 streams on his 2019 sophomore EP ‘Still A Kid‘ which contained ‘Drought’ as an exclusive bonus track on all hard copies.
Likened to Australian Rap icon Allday, Drest adopts smooth wordplay and melodic cadences to share his perspective on growing up in contrasting environments.

Moving towards the halfway mark of 2020 TLF hopes ‘Drought‘ comes as the first of many more releases from the forthright rapper this year.
