After constantly attempting to push the envelope in 2020 with hard-hitting singles and avant-garde visuals, rising Melbourne-based artist Sophiya has returned to deliver her highly anticipated debut EP ‘OVERDUE‘.

At six tracks long, the project unveils three new joints alongside the already widely acclaimed hits ‘ROSIE‘, ‘CHIEF O’ KIEF‘ and ‘LINGO‘. Providing listeners with a striking overview of her dexterous artistry and energetic charisma, ‘OVERDUE‘ serves as the perfect appetiser for what we can expect to see more of in the future.

Sonically, each song presents compelling flows and stylish lyricism as Sophiya flawlessly layers her vocals over hefty, bass-banging Trap production. There’s no skips, this EP is made to be bumped from start to finish.

Speaking on the release, Sophiya says:

“This six track EP really shows all the different sides to me, kind of like a rubix cube. It’s a taste of what’s to come and I honestly can’t wait to hit the stage, the 808’s on all of these tracks are insane.”
