Keeping busy throughout Melbourne’s current stage 4 lockdown, local tastemaker Jimmy Harwood continues to expand his already-eclectic sonic palette after sharing a third solo EP titled ‘Electric Daisy‘.

Incorporating elements of Hip-Hop, Indie, Folk, and Ambient music, the five track project possesses playful production that’s both buoyant and ruminative. For instance, the opening cut ‘Pictures‘ encompasses an atmospheric and slow-paced jam which hears Jimmy reflect through brooding harmonies. While songs like ‘Mansfield‘ and ‘Another One‘ offer more upbeat rhythmics and shift the focus to his intoxicating wordplay. As a result, there’s no dull moments on this EP. It’s fluid from start to finish.

With Harwood dabbling in new sounds and exhilarating undertones in each release, TLF is eager to watch the promising artist continue to push boundaries and cement his position in the scene.
