Moving with the success of his stellar debut single ‘One Time‘, emerging Melbourne-based artist Antoine has returned with a powerful follow-up titled ‘Living In Colour‘.
Produced and mixed by ServidSounds, the record provides a brooding insight into the uncompromising outlook of Antoine’s experiences with racism. Moreover, ‘Living In Colour‘ is emotionally laced with a selection of heart-wrenching samples from the viral monologue of Indigenous artist Meyne Wyatt.
Stylistically, the track showcases his riveting storytelling prowess while putting forward a sound reminiscent to the likes of Hip-Hop greats A Tribe Called Quest, Kendrick Lamar and Slick Rick.
Speaking on the release, Antoine says;
“It just fell out of me, I felt it would make people understand the simplistic side of racism that’s constantly dealt with, rather than the back and forth arguments and debates online.”
