Ending the year on a high note, Melbourne-based rapper and producer Drest has unveiled a charismatic new cut titled ‘rumblestrip‘.
Layered with ambient samples, bouncy drum patterns and grungy instrumentation, the record hears Drest frolic between contemplative flows and invigorating melodies.
The talented crooner continues to establish his sound while captivating listeners with his ear-worm choruses and teen-tinted perspective. With each release he dabbles in new soundscapes and defies his limits; it’s only a matter of time before the scene recognises his prowess.
What’s more, Drest announced he’s linked up with local tastemaker and prominent videographer Zac Harris for the singles accompanying visuals (expected for release January 6, 2021).
