Drest turns a new leaf and shares a robust Pop record titled ’tilthesundies’

After closing out 2020 with his widely praised single ‘Rumblestrip‘, Melbourne-based artist Drest has made a highly anticipated return as he tests the waters with a dynamic and fresh new anthem titled ‘tilthesundies‘.

Moving away from his traditional Hip-Hop roots, this release sees Drest lean heavily towards a more Pop-Rap styled approach. As a result, the track transpires into a left field love song reminiscent to the likes of global new wave sensations 24kGoldn and The Kid LAROI.

Sonically it’s fuelled with a zippy guitar lead and up-tempo beat (co-produced by himself and Hamley), giving listeners a melting pot of sounds varying from Pop, R&B, Indie and Rap. But ultimately, it has all the right elements for to make it a certified feel-good banger.

What’s more, ‘tilthesundies‘ comes as the first taste of Drest’s forthcoming EP β€˜cloudsthrutherain’ which is expected for released by the end of the year. And judging by this new single, we’re in for an absolute treat. Stay tuned for more!
