Melbourne-based artist and producer r.em.edy makes her well-awaited return after recovering from a severe vocal injury. And boy, did she come back with a bang!
Her new hit ‘Love Drunk‘ (mixed/mastered by Trae) is a relatable song about the intoxicating emotions that love can bring and how it can hinder your better judgement. The vocals themselves are intoxicating and dreamlike, especially paired with the airy layered backing vocals.
‘Love Drunk‘ marks r.em.edy’s first venture into character songwriting as she wrote and performed the track from the point of view of her dark, sensual alter ego, Nikki. Considering this was her debut, Nikki ate and left no crumbs.
