Returning off the back of his highly praised singles “Avalanche‘ and ‘Cry Don’t Cry‘, emerging multifaceted artist KILL Carter is back with his third release of 2021 after unveiling a glossy new ballad titled ‘Fool‘.

Projecting his powerful and uplifting cadence, Carter glides above atmospheric production that’s marvellously compiled of radiant guitar chords, reverberating drums and ambient keys. Sonically, ‘Fool‘ puts forward a magnetising blend of Alternative R&B, Hip-Hop and Pop, as Carter serves a polished sound via slow-building melodies and insightful wordplay while brooding on a past relationship.

The Melbourne-based talent flexes his ability to push boundaries and go beyond the status quo of what it means to be an artist in this day and age; not many can deliver genre-bending performances and have it sound truly authentic at the same time.

Speaking on the release via Instagram, Carter says;

“I made this song the day after one of the toughest days of my life, so it’s really a bittersweet feeling sharing a piece of me from that day with you guys months down the track.”

“I had a real tough time picking the 3rd single and went back and forth various times between different songs over the last few months. But in the end, i think the most important thing for me on this project was to really push myself and cross as many boundaries vocally and sonically as i could as a ‘rapper’, bridging the gaps between my taste today & what i listened to when i was a teen.”

What’s more, ‘Fool‘ comes as the final taste of KILL Carter’s forthcoming project ‘EDEN‘ which is expected for release in the coming months. Judging by what’s been dropping as of late, there’s no doubt this will further solidify his position within the scene and put Carter on the map. Keep your eyes and ears peeled!
